Looking after yourself, getting outdoors, engaging in other activities as alternatives to gambling and engaging socially with friends and family away from gambling are all good ways to help you get through gambling cravings that you may be experiencing.   

Here are some tips to help you make the most of this season, improve your overall well-being and move away from any gambling harms and worries you may experience.

One of the ways to get through your gambling cravings when they arise is to distract yourself with another activity.  Try adding a Mindfulness meditation to your toolbox on a regular basis.  By taking a few minutes to refocus yourself when you’re feeling the urge to gamble, stressed, anxious or depressed, you can help yourself back to a place of peace and well-being.
