On December 9th 2025 The PEI Gambling Support Unit (GSU) teamed up with the Red Shores Charlottetown PlayWise team for a very successful on-site Community Engagement and Education evening.
Guests and patrons were greeted in the lobby of Red Shores Charlottetown Racetrack and Casino and invited to enjoy some "Take-a-Break" refreshments, have a chat, and explore some of our information and resources for Healthy Play. The GSU also provided direction on Supports available in PEI such as The 24/7 PEI Gambling Support Phone Line #1-855-255-4255 and our first-in-class website www.PEIGamblingSupport.com.
The ALC PlayWise Team also provided information and resources on their Limit Setting Tools and many other helpful initiatives for Healthy Play. They also engaged guests with an interactive and educational display inviting them to think about "Who is your support?".
