Celebrating Inclusive Rural Communities in Western PEI
The PEI Gambling Support Unit (GSU) was delighted to partake in the PEI Community Navigator's "Neighbourly Meet and Greet" held at Westisle Composite High School in Elmsdale on September 18th 2025.
This free-to-attend event was part of PEI Neighbour Week 2025, where all residents were encouraged to come out to meet their neighbours and celebrate creating the most welcoming, inclusive, and diverse rural communities together, for all.
A Vibrant Gathering of Neighbours
The GSU hosted an education and engagement table along side dozens of other cultural and information booths, local and international food samples, children’s activities, a special basketball game, and entertainment from around the world! It was such a great event and a real pleasure to be able to have meaningful engagement with our neighbours in Western PEI.
