This training is aimed at practitioners working directly with women or anyone affected by gambling harms, to feel more confident in having conversations around the topic of gambling harms. The objectives of this training are:

Recap of what harmful gambling can look like
Understand what a brief intervention is
Explore how to apply the OARS method to ask someone about gambling harms
Learn examples of questions that can be used to ask about gambling
Knowledge of referral pathways for help and support

This training is intended for frontline professionals and practitioners who may encounter gambling-related harm in their work. As a condition of our funding, we are unable to provide training to professionals working within the gambling industry.
